Methodological Introduction

For children aged: preschool, early school

Collection: Code with Ava - Interactive Coding Boards

Type of interaction: Light Markers

On the Planet of Scientists, Ava has many tasks to perform. Reaching the right places has been made difficult because the routes are encoded using numbers and mathematical operations. Ava's continuation of research depends on proficiency in counting.

Applications from the Numbers and Operations section use one of the most popular codes in the world - numbers and digits. With their help, we encrypt various information, create mathematical operations. Thanks to them, Ava is led through the winding paths of the Planet of Scientists. The numbers and mathematical operations used in the applications vary in difficulty level, and their range is from zero to one hundred. The difficulty of tasks increases with the size and order of the boards. The user most often indicates one of several available paths, where numbers or results of mathematical operations flawlessly meet the condition given in the command. To indicate the correct route for Ava, arrange blocks with arrows according to the chosen path from the board. With the applications from the Numbers and Operations section, you will shape the ability to understand basic mathematical concepts and operations, counting from zero to one hundred, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in this range, as well as recognizing even and odd numbers.

In the applications from the Numbers and Operations section, we have used a user-friendly user panel, which contains functions helpful in working with the board. You will find their description on the following pages of the guide.
