Motioncube software configuration
Motioncube Player has built-in tools that will guide you step by step through the process of configuring the software to work with interactive projection and to create an environment like interactive floor.
First run
During the first start of Motioncube Player (after going through the login process and activating the free license), specify the end user's target work environment. This choice will adjust the features and offer from the store to a specific type of devices. The available options are shown on the screen below:
Select For interactive floors
and click Next
.
On the next screen you will be able to specify which device you are currently working on. Depending on your choice, the Motioncube software will adapt its interface for an optimal user experience.
You can always change this selection later.
In the next step, you will be asked to specify what interactive features your working environment supports (or will support).
Depending on the selected features, Motioncube will adjust the options that you will see in the following configuration steps and in the Options > Advanced
tab. This choice will also affect the visibility of the application collection in the built-in Application Store - only those applications that are supported by the device will be shown (e.g. on a device that supports only motion interaction, applications supported by IR pens will not be shown in the store).
You can also change the above options later.
If you leave the 'Start Camera Calibration Wizard' option checked on this screen, the wizard will start automatically when you proceed. If you uncheck this option, you will be able to enable the wizard from the Options > Advanced
tab. The operation of the wizard is described in the next section of the documentation.
Change existing settings
To change the existing settings, go to Options > Advanced
in the Menu.
If you are in Design mode, then you will immediately see the Adjust Motioncube
option (as shown in the screenshot). If you are in Playback mode, please enable Service Mode
first to unlock designer options.
